CNIS inspires teenage volunteers!

My name is Changmin and I’m writing this on behalf of University Hill Scondary’s CNIS club. After volunteering with CNIS over the summer, I became passionate about the cause and I decided to start a club supporting CNIS. I, along with nine other dedicated students, meet every Monday at lunch to make cut outs, do some snapping or make umbilical cords. As a group, we’ve also decided to hold monthly fundraisers and have held a successful one last month. From selling Korean Food to the students and staff members of University Hill Secondary, we’ve made $220 dollars that we have donated to CNIS earlier this week. We hope to continue this success in our future fundraisers, and we’d be happy to hear any suggestions you guys might have!  We also hope to build more connections within our community and raise awareness of the cause.

I would like to thank CNIS for giving students an opportunity to be initiators and help make a difference in the world. I would also like to thank all the volunteers and I hope to be able to meet you in the future. I believe that one’s success should be based on success of the least fortunate; so let us all work together and aspire for a better world tomorrow!

Le RCCI: une source d’inspiration pour les adolescents

Bonsoir bénévoles,  bienfaiteurs et  personnel du RCCI !

Mon nom est Changmin et j’écris ici au nom du club RCCI de University Hill.  Cet été, ayant fait du bénévolat pour le RCCI, je me suis passionné pour leur cause et j’ai décidé de fonder un club pour supporter leur travail. Moi-même et neuf autres étudiants, nous nous réunissons chaque lundi à l’heure du repas pour couper, poiçonner ou fabriquer des cordons ombilicaux. Notre groupe a également décider d’organiser des levées de fonds mensuelles et elle du mois dernier a eu beaucoup de succès. En vendant de la nouritture coréenne aux étudiants et personnel de l’école secondaire University Hill, nous avons récolté 220 dollars que nous avons donné au RCCI cette semaine. Nous espérons continuer notre action avec succès et serions très heureux d’écouter les suggestions que vous pourriez nous faire! Nous espérons aussi créer de nouveaux liens dans notre communauté et sensibiliser  à notre cause.

Je voudrais remercier le RCCI qui donne l’opportunité aux étudiants de devenir moteurs et d’aider à faire une différence dans le monde. Je voudrais aussi remercier tous les volontaires et j’espère vous revoir dans le futur. Je crois que le le succès personnel devrait être basé sur le succès du moins fortuné; alors travaillons ensemble et aspirons à un nouveau monde pour demain!
