The Injury Prevention Initiative for Africa (IPIFA) is a group of individuals and institutions striving to build capacity for Africans to prevent injuries. IPIFA has made significant advancements since its inception in 1997 and incorporation in 2002. Mr. Milton Mutto is the Secretary General of the IPIFA's Executive Board, with Professor Wilson Odero serving as President, Professor Enas Mohammed as Vice resident of Technical Affairs and Professor Babatunde Solagberu as Vice President of Finance.
IPIFA has released its first pamphlet as a means to circulate information and enhance communication, while displaying IPIFA's history and achievements. The pamphlet was showcased at the 9th World conference on Injury Prevention in Mexico in 2008
